Graduating students ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 4:30 pm.
You will receive your graduation gown and cap, have pictures taken, and do a pre-ceremony practice run-through. Please do not be late.
Families and Friends: The Ceremony will begin sharply at 6:00 pm.
** Please note: The Auditorium will be available to find seats starting at 5:15 pm. Prior to this time, it will be utilized for a practice run-through with students.
Handicap reservation signs will be in place for those who need them.
TiCkets
Tickets are not required to attend the Success BLC graduation event. Please come to celebrate the graduating students. Seating will be available starting at 5:15 pm for guests. The ceremony begins at 6:00 pm SHARP.
Before Ceremony
You'll sign in and receive your cap and gown in our Getting Ready Room. This is room 125. This room is for graduates and staff only. No guests or family members of the graduates are allowed in. They must find a seat in the venue seating. The venue will be available to friends and family to find seats starting at 5:15 pm.
Our Class of 2024 (whohoooo!) will do a practice walk-through to make sure that everything will go just right! Practice run-through begins at 4:45 pm.
After our practice walkthrough, all graduates will stay backstage until the ceremony begins and get their individual photos taken.
venue and Parking Instructions
GODWIN HEIGHTS HIGH SCHOOL, 50 35th St SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49548.
There are two parking lots to the west of the school. One is off 35th Street, and one is off 36th Street. Please don't park in the bus loop on 36th Street. Wyoming police will be there to help direct traffic. Please give these directions to your family and friends. **
The Venue will be open to guests to find seating beginning at 5:15 pm. The ceremony will begin at 6:00 pm promptly. Please plan to arrive prior to the ceremony start time.
After Ceremony Reception
This is a moment to remember, so we'll snap some group photos of all our Success graduates and our staff members.
Refreshments & reception celebration - 30 minutes
If you borrowed your cap and gown please return it at the gown return table at the the celebration.
During the ceremony graduates will receive their diploma covers. Their official diplomas will be available at the reception to be picked up by graduates.
